Abstract:

Artificial Neural Networks have found a widespread application in diverse areas from Economics to Automatic Control. Some of these applications need specific hardware because of price, speed or the impossibility to use a Personal Computer. In these cases a hardware implementation is needed. In the last years one of the research lines of our group is to build a general purpose hardware implementation for Artificial Neural Networks that can be used as an off the self solution. In this presentation I will show the difficulties and achievements of our work towards this general purpose implementation.
