Title: Wireless Sensor Networks - state of the art, computation power, application areas |
PDF Presentation |
Abstract:The past decade has seen the rapid development of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in many fields. WSN platforms became cheaper, enabling deployment of many nodes which provide capabilities to sense or even affect the surroundings. The aim of this lecture is to briefly introduce the WSN, presentation of Wislab (Wireless System Laboratory at Brno) work and finally to acquaint with energy efficient wireless body sensor platform for medical purposes.
