El grupo de investigaci\u00f3n que forma esta divisi\u00f3n tiene dos \u00e1reas de inter\u00e9s claramente diferenciadas. La primera explora los aspectos te\u00f3ricos y pr\u00e1cticos de la traducci\u00f3n, la interpretaci\u00f3n y la mediaci\u00f3n intercultural desde las perspectivas did\u00e1ctica y profesional, aplicando las herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas correspondientes. La segunda examina los diversos aspectos -tanto de car\u00e1cter afectivo como metodol\u00f3gico- que pueden tener impacto en el aprendizaje y ense\u00f1anza de una lengua extranjera y en el aprendizaje integrado de contenido y lengua (AICLE); la investigaci\u00f3n llevada a cabo en contextos AICLE a\u00fan es escasa en la Comunidad Aut\u00f3noma Canaria, por lo que esta l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n persigue recopilar datos que puedan facilitar la reflexi\u00f3n y la toma de decisiones por parte de las autoridades competentes. Adem\u00e1s de participar en diversos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n, los miembros de esta divisi\u00f3n est\u00e1n muy involucrados en la docencia de posgrado, tanto en m\u00e1steres como en doctorado.<\/p>\n<p align=\"\">La Divisi\u00f3n de Traducci\u00f3n e Interpretaci\u00f3n y Aprendizaje de Lengua desarrolla las siguientes l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n \t<li>Aprendizaje y ense\u00f1anza del ingl\u00e9s como LE y aprendizaje integrado de contenidos y lengua: esta l\u00ednea se centra, por una parte, en la ense\u00f1anza y el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras en todos los niveles formativos y explora diversos aspectos que pueden tener impacto en su calidad, tanto de car\u00e1cter afectivo como metodol\u00f3gico. Por otra parte, estudia la ense\u00f1anza del ingl\u00e9s en entornos AICLE (aprendizaje integrado de contenidos y lengua) con el fin de recopilar datos de un contexto de aprendizaje a\u00fan joven, especialmente en Canarias, para as\u00ed poder aportar reflexiones y conclusiones al campo de la educaci\u00f3n que contribuyan a que mejore el rendimiento de los estudiantes.<\/li>\n \t<li>Traducci\u00f3n, interpretaci\u00f3n y mediaci\u00f3n intercultural: el objetivo de esta l\u00ednea de trabajo es m\u00faltiple. En primer lugar, se persigue una reflexi\u00f3n te\u00f3rica en la que tengan cabida distintas corrientes y disciplinas; en segundo lugar, se pretende desarrollar el estudio pr\u00e1ctico de la traducci\u00f3n, la interpretaci\u00f3n y la mediaci\u00f3n intercultural entendidas como proceso y como producto con el fin de obtener soluciones a problemas concretos, sin olvidar el uso de las herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas ligadas a estos \u00e1mbitos; y, en tercer lugar, se busca aplicar los resultados de los objetivos anteriores a los \u00e1mbitos did\u00e1ctico y
